Indie, British, coming-of-age comedy so an institution that has experience distributing to British audiences is essential.

Universal have experience distributing this kind of film to a UK audience as their British subsidiary company, Working Title, was responsible for distributing many films to British audiences, including the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World is a UK/US co-production. It was produced by a British company (Big Talk Films) and distributed by an American company (Universal).

Alma Gavon Pictures is a company that we are setting up to produce our film. It specializes in small, independent, British films like ours. Film London is a company that aims to grow the British film industry and supports film like ours. The BFI funding will be for the same reason as the support of Film London.
